Specialized Menu Training Program
The Specialized Menu Training Program is designed to use Commission-approved categories, topics, and objectives that encompass subject matter pertinent to training within the criminal justice field. Training courses shall be developed by applying a "menu" concept to fulfill local training needs and to satisfy identified training needs. If utilizing trust fund monies, the training must be conducted through a Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission certified Training School.
The Specialized Menu Training Program includes nine (9) broad categories. Each has been subdivided into subject areas entitled TOPICS. Approved training objectives are identified within each category for selection and use by the training school or local agency.
