Driving Ranges

The Academy has three components to its driving complex. In addition to two pads used for steering, braking, lane change, skid, and backing techniques, an .8 mile moderate speed course is available offering increasing and decreasing radius curves as well as super-elevated curves. Driving programs are offered for law enforcement officers operating sedans, SUVs, ATVs, motorcycles, and bicycles, as well as corrections personnel operating transport vans and EMS EVOC drivers.
