Lake

The Academy provides a man-made, spring-fed lake specifically built to support the training needs of law enforcement agencies. Underwater features include three crime scenes involving a car, a boat, and a plane as well as a 1,500-yard underwater obstacle and confidence course that all support basic as well as search and recovery dive training programs. The lake is also used to teach law enforcement officers boat launch, approach and boarding tactics, boating accident investigation, and advanced defensive tactics in and around vessels.
